Arizona’s legislature closed on April 24 without passing its proposed bill.
HB 2865 was introduced on February 11, 2021 and currently sits with the Arizona House Commerce Committee. This bill primarily amends Title 18, Chapter 5 to add verbiage regarding personal data and does not resemble the CCPA or Virginia statutes.
Senate Bill 1614 regarding consumer data and privacy has stalled as of February 2020. HB 2729 shared a similar fate in 2019.
